State Conference and Seminars:
The annual state conference for 2012 is
scheduled for April 27 and 28, 2012, in Anchorage, at the BP Center. More information regarding speakers and
topics will be posted in February or March.
The state conference for 2011 was held on April 15 and 16, 2011, in Fairbanks at
Pike’s Waterfront Lodge (www.pikeslodge.com ).

The annual fall one-day continuing education
seminar was held on October 22, 2011, in Anchorage, on the UAA campus. For more

LOCAL CHAPTERS:
The Anchorage Chapter of Medical Assistants plans continuing education seminars in August, September, February and May. The next session will be held in on February 29, 2012. Follow this link for more information.
The Interior Chapter of Medical Assistants meets in
Fairbanks on the first Friday of each month (except during the summer) at 6 pm UAF Community and Technical College, Room 409, 604
